Summary of Burnside Lions Club's Involvement with Operation Flinders On Tuesday, July 30th, Rob Crookall had the pleasure of representing the Burnside Lions Club at a ceremony where certificates were awarded to 10 male students from Glenunga High who recently participated in Operation Flinders. Our club partially sponsored this initiative. During the event, Jonathon Robran, Executive Officer of Operation Flinders, acknowledged our club’s contribution, and we received heartfelt thanks from students, teachers, and parents. Notably, one mother approached Rob after the meeting to express her personal gratitude. We may have the opportunity to invite her and her son to a future club meeting to share their experiences and further appreciate the impact of our contribution.
